Find out more about my art, my process, and me here on my blog.
Life is slowly settling down into a normal pattern since my move. My kids are all at school this year, so I'm on my own during the day. It is a little lonely and much quieter. We are still in a small rental while we wait for our house to sell, so I can't unpack my whole studio yet. I did get some things out however and am getting back to art making little, by little. I started out with a Lifebook lesson. They are always inspiring and since I can follow a plan it is a nice way to ease back into drawing and painting. I'll probably keep on making these lessons for a while until I'm able to start something more ambitious. I still have plans for quilts in my head and in my inspiration book. These will have to come out sometime. I also have started to make patterns again and will hopefully have one ready to share next Wednesday. Here is the page that I created for one of Tam's lessons. I hope that I can inspire you to go out and be creative too.

I am a mother of five children from ages 21 to 5. I spend most of my time mothering and keeping house. In my free time I like to play with textiles, art journaling and painting. I have a degree in textile and apparel studies with a design focus. Right now I am more interested in fiber arts than apparel design, but I don't know where my journey will take me. Categories
